Se viene nuevo disco de Black Sabbath

Hago un copy/paste de una entrevista a Ozzy en la revista Metal¨Hammer.

[size="4"]Black Sabbath are to record a final album together, Ozzy Osbourne has exclusively revealed to Metal Hammer.[/size]

The heavy metal legends will team up with producer Rick Rubin once again to record the follow-up to 2013's hugely successful 13 album.

Speaking to Classic Rock at the end of 2013, Ozzy, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler were hesitant about the possibility of making one final Sabbath album - "I don't know if it would be the right thing to do," Iommi admitted. "But who knows. The history of this band has taught me to never say never" - but frontman Ozzy now says that the band will begin work on the album next year.

"The whole Sabbath experience this time around was great," says Ozzy. "We all made friends, we didn't fuck around, we all knew that we had a job to do, and we did it. It was a lot of fun. So we're going to do one more album, and a final tour. Once the dust settled after the last tour we started discussing the idea, because we were getting asked about it all the time. I said to Sharon 'What's going on? Because if there's no more Sabbath I want to get on with my own thing again' and she came back and said 'Let me look into it.' Three weeks later I asked her about it again, and she said 'Oh, I still have to talk to so and so...' and I said 'Sharon, I ain't fucking 21 any more, if we're going to do it I want to do it before I'm 70!' Time isn't on our side! So she made the call and came back and said 'Yeah, the record company wants another album.' I believe Rick Rubin is going to do it with us again."

Although the trio have no new material written for what will be Sabbath's twentieth studio album, Osbourne anticipates that sessions will begin early in 2015.

"It'll be sooner rather than later," the singer insists. "Obviously a lot of it is coming down to Tony's health, he's obviously got his cancer treatment, but we'll get onto it next year. I don't know if we'll be writing in England or LA, but I'll fly to the fucking moon for it if I have to!”



Espero que lo logren y que sea tan bueno o mejor que "13", y como dice Ozzy, estos maestros ya no tienen 21 años, asi que a cuidarse mierda y que pasen por Chile otra vez!!!

fuck!!! Y no habrá mas... "13" fue su ultimo album de estudio, aqui lo que dijo Tony Iommi:

"No puedo seguir haciendo esto. Mi cuerpo no aguantará mucho más". La edad y su salud fueron cruciales para tomar la decisión, "Hemos estado haciendo esto por 50 años, es momento de poner un punto, ¿no crees?. Ha sido grandioso pero es momento de parar... No me malinterpretes, aún amo salir de gira. Los problemas son los viajes y el cansancio... Me encanta estar en el escenario, tocando con Sabbath. Lo que detesto es lo otro que se necesita para que eso ocurra. Ninguno de nosotros está rejuveneciendo", agregó el guitarrista, quien mantiene controlado un cáncer detectado el 2012: "Me hago análisis de sangre cada seis semanas y luego hay un análisis más grande para asegurarme de que todo está bien".

¿Alguna chance de ver a Bill Ward sentado en la batería? "Depende de él. Nos encontramos hace algunas semanas y todo fue grandioso, pero depende de él. Nuestros planes en este momento son girar con Ozzy, Geezer Butler, yo y Tommy Clufetos, que lo hizo muy bien en el último tour".

Black Sabbath descarta grabar un nuevo álbum
Es definitivo, Black Sabbath no editará un nuevo álbum.

Ozzy Osbourne admitió que el conjunto optó por hacer su gira de despedida, aunque hace algún tiempo el mismo cantante expresó sus deseos de volver al estudio con sus compañeros, opinión que ha cambiado. "En diciembre tendré 68 años y creo que es momento de dar un paso al costado. No estoy diciendo que no me subiré nunca más a un escenario con Gezzer o Tony o cualquiero, pero oficialmente daremos todo por terminado. No quiero que esto deje de ser relevante y tener que tocar sólo para llenar otro maldito saco de dinero. Así que es el momento, y luego me largaré a hacer mis propias cosas".

El último trabajo de Black Sabbath fue "13", editado hace dos años. El último tour de la icónica agrupación se realizará el próximo y tiene fechas agendadas tanto en Estados Unidos como en Europa y Oceanía.

y al viejo Ozzy no le tenia tanta fe, pero me sorprendió, no como para cantar el sabbath bloody sabbath, pero bien.
