Hola, estos transformadores Hashimoto brindan un sonido increíblemente claro y neutral, sin ninguna coloración al sonido de la grabación, es como si no existieran. Y combinados con un par de tubos 300B Western Electric de los años 1997 y 1998, usados pero en buen estado, el resultado es lo mejor del audio hifi. Saludos a los porno-audio adictos,

Permítanme compartir la excitación de un sueño de juventud finalmente hecho realidad: un par de tubos 300B Western Electric, con certificados de origen. Fueron comprados en Japón por Kenji Mizushima en los 90´ y gentilmente me los vendió a un precio muy razonable. De todos los adjetivos usados y abusados por el mundo audiófilo los más adecuados son, según este cada vez más sordo servidor: Sonido elegante, no es exactamente dulce ni cálido, es más que eso. El sonido tiene la claridad meridiana de un 300B pero nunca llega a ser analítico, cada timbre tiene el toque de elegancia que caracteriza el high end extremo (ese de precios con más de 6 dígitos), algo así como claridad detrás de una cortina de seda. El bajo es bien controlado, casi hasta parecer que le falta un poco, pero la musicalidad del rango medio hace que uno no piensa en qué le falta, porque lo que tiene es muy bueno y adictivo, para pasar todo el día escuchando música. Sí que vale la pena hacer el esfuerzo por poder gozar estos equipos y tubos (me endeudé un poco), porque al final uno los goza por años y recibe salud mental y espiritual por montones, sobre todo compartiendo con otros pacientes enfermos de audiofilia congénita. Unas fotitos para gozar la envidia a la distancia... je je je.

It was a breakthrough power triode, but in those days it hummed away from behind a curtain in early Hollywood sound systems. The same things that served moviegoers back then—low noise, ultra-long life, sonic purity and warmth—made it a standout tube for music lovers and vintage audio collectors as the years passed. Deep into the age of the transistor, communities around the world in search of true, original, high-fidelity sound rediscovered the 300-B and its exceptional performance. New amplifier designs brought the tube front and center, its customary yellow lettering on proud display. Sometimes, the old ways are the best. Today, the 300-B is re-entering production at the Rossville Works. Our new manufacturing home was custom-built to master the dozens of individual demands of tube making, from sealing the iconic glass bulb to the complex metallurgic processes within. We’ve modernized the production line here and there to establish forward momentum at a company with 150 years of history. Western Electric believes twenty-first century listeners deserve twenty-first century manufacturing standards. For the 300-B’s 80th birthday, we’re announcing pre-orders will begin in the US on January 11 and in select countries February 15. IMPORTANT: Pre-ordering is for customers who wish to purchase tubes directly from Western Electric. You will not be charged until your order ships. You may update, cancel, or otherwise edit your order at any time using your confirmation email. When charged, you may be asked for approval by your bank or credit card provider. In the event that your payment information changes or expires in the time after your order is placed, you will be asked to re-enter your information or contact Western Electric to ensure fulfillment. Your information is not visible to Western Electric and is stored using the highest PCI compliance standards available. Western Electric is committed to meeting renewed, worldwide demand for the 300-B. Exact time of delivery is based on a first-in, first-out allocation system and a scheduled ramp in production at the Rossville Works. Quantities will be limited and restrictions apply.
