Interesante se ve esta nueva rega. El precio también. 

Valdrá la pena arriesgarse a comprarla en pre venta sin escucharla?

Me sumo a la pregunta, mas todavía que pensaba hacer cambio de capsula (es urgente) a mi technics sl-q2, lo que significaba aprox 100k. Entonces, convendría poner la otra mitad (recuperándolo con la venta de la sl-q2) y cambiar de tornamesa de frenton?

Que opinan ustedes? Mejor equipar la sl-q2 con la ortofon red, o aprovechar la preventa y cambiar de tornamesa?

Buenas tardes. 

Jajajaja...sí. Me encantan las tornamesas antiguas, pero es sólo cuestión de gustos.

Sin embargo, me refería al "dilema" de bajameltonito y su cambio o no de torna por está rega.

Encontré un comentario de un comprador de la Planar 1, que la comparaba con la P2, y terminó escogiendo igual la P1. El tipo hizo la prueba en un buen equipo, y de hecho lo premiaron como review del mes en What HiFi

 "I bought the Planar 1 after careful comparison with the Planar 2 which, at only an extra £125, seemed like an attractive alternative/upgrade. I thought that, if money was the issue, it would be worth saving up a little more if the P2 was really so much better.

The fact is- it wasn't. I could hear no difference whatsoever between the P1 and the P2. Sure, the glass platter on the P2 might be better than the resin of the P1; the tone-arm might be of a better construction. The P2 have a longer lifespan. But in terms of actual audible performance- no, there was absolutely nothing in it at all. They were both magnificent (by the way- my system and the system I tested the 'tables on: Naim UnitiQute 2 with Rega Mini phono stage and Bowers & Wilkins CM1 loudspeakers).

I really listened hard- with my head and my heart- for over an hour. I played familiar songs over and over and was surprised and delighted at how clean both 'tables sound production was. Bass was superb in both, detail was clear and delightful. Both were steady (no performance pack upgrade- just the basic decks). I tried and tried to find a reason that the P2 was worth the money but, aside from the quality of the glass platter, I could find none. They were absolutely equal and in a blind test (conducted by the shop assistant) I could not separate the two.

I suppose the P2 might last longer but who knows? Rega RP1s seems to be lasting a long time. Ultimately I was truly delighted with the P1 and had no hesitation in buying it.

I was also unsure about the performance pack. My decision was to wait; the Carbon Cartridge Rega supply is excellent and, frankly, if you are considering a P1 and are therefore an entry-level Audiophile then trust me- it is superb and you will be very happy! I do believe it is worth buying the white drive belt though, so grab that (available on Amazon for £21 I think). More reliable and steady. The upgrade mat- in wool- wont make a jot of difference unless you are playing your P1 through a £25,000 reference system (and if you are, dont buy the P1). As for the Bias 2- yes, it is better. But not very much, you may not notice. It will be slightly more gentle on your vinyl. Treat yourself at your next birthday.

My advice: I cant work out who the P2 is for; if you are just getting back in to vinyl, are a new Audiophile, upgrading from something very old or cheap, then this deck will blow you away and you will fall in love with it. Just buy it- support a super British company who make things properly! But if you think you are a bit more of an experienced audiophile and have the cash then clearly look a bit further up the Rega tree- perhaps the P3.

If anyone is in doubt about vinyl, don't be; its wonderful. Just make sure you have a decent amp, phono stage and speakers. You'll love it."

Interesante, yo como buen rookie parti con una vintage tanke Sony ps 4750, escuchando siempre que tiene que ser direct drive y brazo en S, hoy con un poco más de recorrido, me pregunto después de 40 años, será posible que no se fabriquen buenas tornas a un precio justo??, Me gustaría​ probar un belt drive, yo solo uso la tornamesa para escuchar mis vinilos tranquilo en casa, no hago scratch no DJ Mendez, me comprendes....

pero que es un precio justo? las tornas buenas siempre han sido caras, hoy o hace 40 años, no cualquiera tenia una technics en su living girando.

Hace poco pude sacar una relación de lo que costaba una torna en la época dorada, tal como mencionas, nunca ví una technics en casa de amigos o la mía, calculaba que aprox una Q2, podría rondar los 450-600.... Actuales

Debo hablar bien de Needle, compre una RP6 que lamentablemente vino con Buzz debido a un problema de aislacion en el brazo y sin mayor complicación me la cambiaron por una nueva que debo ir a recoger.

Tal como a veces se critica, también se debe agradecer el buen servicio que poco se ve en este Chile.

Tomé el riesgo y compré una en preventa.

Ya veremos como suena cuando llegue, ojalá hoy viernes para poder disfrutarla este finde y dejarles mis impresiones el lunes.

Y si la ven en clasificados el Martes, ya intuirán mi opinión jajajaa

De instalación es muy fácil como dicen, cuesta más sacar el empaquetado de chileexpress que instalarla. Funcionamiento simple pero efectivo, como toda la linea rega. Ahora lo tengo conectado al phono rega A2D y unos parlantesactivos audioengine A5+. El sonido con una apreciable (para el segmento) separación de instrumentos lo que se agradece, me gustan como suenan las percusiones, más secas y definidas que mi antigua torna, de todos modos requiere más horas. De todos modos requiero más horas de escucha y mayor variedad de vinilos (tengo casi todo fuera de santiago). Pero hasta ahora me ha agradado bastante, sin ser de todos modos (hasta ahora}) el gran salto respecto de mi  equipo anterior.

La proxima semana doy un comentario más detallado.
