Nuevo costaba aproximadamente 7 millones. Cuenta con un DAC interno de alta calidad (equivalente a 1.5 millones) con entradas USB (computador) Coax y óptica. Este amplificador entrega un sonido de gran clase: amable, sin estridencias de ningún tipo. El agudo es refinado, con microdetalle abundante, pero sin un ápice de agresividad. Los medios son una delicia, por su suavidad y fluidez; cero asperezas. El grave es controlado y afinado; contrabajos aparecen con toda su complejidad armónica y la línea melódica es fácil de seguir. La restitución de timbres es de gran categoría; instrumentos de percusión agudos suenan cristalinos, con mucho aire. Cuerdas tienen dulzura y aspereza en justa medida; oboes, clarinetes, sin traza de nasalidad; cornos no saturan. La dinámica, tanto micro (vibratos, etc) como macro (tuttis y fortissimos orquestales), es fiel al vivo. En definitiva, estamos en presencia de un amplificador preciso en cuanto a ataques, mantenimiento y caída de notas; sin asperezas, de sonido casi líquido, con baja distorsión, con una suavidad similar en cierto modo al tubo, pero con un control superior y una dinámica absolutamente real. El balance tonal es correctísimo; no hay grave inflado, medios adelantados, ni agudos exacerbados. The CPM2800 includes our custom designed Bluetooth receiver that allows the extraction and decryption of digital audio information and this along with the other digital inputs is input directly into a high quality digital to analogue converter. The bluetooth connection uses a very simple pairing procedure and with a range of up to 30 meters it can be used anywhere in the home. The USB port can be connected to a personal computer and will seamlessly appear as an audio device by the operating system. Selection and control of both digital and analogue inputs is via an easy to use front panel interface or remote control and the large display can easily be seen across a room.
